Klinik Kelime
Privacy Policy

Klinik Kelime is a vocabulary app for people preparing for the YÖKDİL Health Sciences exam in Türkiye. This policy explains what data the app processes. In short: no account is needed, your study progress stays on your phone, and we run no servers. The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob.
1. Data stored on your phone
Your exam date, review history, ad counter and whether you bought the full version are stored only in the app's storage on your phone. They are not sent to us or anyone else. They are deleted when you uninstall the app or use Settings → "İlerlemeyi sıfırla" (reset progress).
2. Ads (Google AdMob) — free version only
The free version shows a full-screen ad every few cards. Ads are provided by Google LLC's AdMob service. The Google Mobile Ads SDK collects and shares the following with Google for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention:
- Device and advertising identifiers (Android advertising ID, app set ID)
- IP address (may be used to estimate the device's approximate location)
- Ad interactions (impressions, taps) and app launches
- Diagnostic information about app and SDK performance
This data is encrypted in transit (TLS). Users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland see a consent form from Google's User Messaging Platform before any ad is requested; if you do not consent to personalised ads, only non-personalised ads are requested. You can change your choice in Settings → "Reklam gizlilik seçenekleri" (ad privacy options). You can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings. The full version shows no ads and does not start the Google Mobile Ads SDK.
3. Purchases (Google Play)
The full version is a one-time purchase through Google Play. Google processes the payment; we never see card or payment details. The app only asks Google Play whether this product has been purchased and stores the result on your phone. The purchase is tied to your Google account and can be restored with "Satın almayı geri yükle" (restore purchase) after reinstalling.
4. If you contact us
Settings → "Geri bildirim gönder" (send feedback) opens your e-mail app. If you e-mail us, we use your address and message only to reply and to improve the app, and do not share them. You can ask us to delete the correspondence.
5. What we do not collect
We do not ask for your name, phone number, contacts, photos, location permission, microphone or camera. The app has no account system, no analytics tool and no server of its own.
6. Children
The app is designed for adults preparing for university and graduate exams and is not directed at children under 13.
7. Your rights
Data controller: Murat Turhan (developer of Klinik Kelime). Under Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, Art. 11) and, where applicable, the GDPR, you may ask whether your data is processed, request access, correction or deletion, object to processing and seek compensation. Write to the address below; we reply within 30 days. Ad ID controls are also available directly in Android settings.
8. Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
